Good quality, great price, confusing instructions The desk is good quality and def worth every penny, would buy it again. I did have some concerns but for full disclosure I have not contacted amazon or the manufacturer for replacement so cant comment on customer service. 1 panel was scratched and 1 had a slight crack. I didnt contact the manufacturer because I needed a desk to work on urgently and did not want to wait for replacement. I built it myself, took about 8-10hours (while watching netflix). But did need 1 more person to help me put the parts on the right position and lifting the hutch. Although the little stickers they provide to cover up the nails and metal are useless they gave me a headache to insert and I think thats what took the most time. Having said that, because of the quality of the material, the sturdiness, the price and aesthetics I would recommend it and buy it again myself. I would love it if the manufacturer (1) included better building instructions, (2) the stickers to cover up the metal are better…
Itâs perfect! 4 stars because itâs new. Absolutely love it!! It took a 3 people to put it together, but they did it in 5 hours (on and off.) I researched for about two weeks and decided on this one, and wow! It was the perfect fit for my super small office. I wish it had more drawers, but itâs high and roomy enough things can be discreetly added underneath and still have plenty of leg room. (5â9, the leg/knee room is awesome) The shipping was odd and it did come in damaged. Luckily, my guys were able to adjust so the damaged piece would be hidden. (I was so excited to get finally get it, I didnât want to raise a fuss over the damaged piece, since was easily hidden.) Iâve not officially sat down and âused it.â We got it set up and I had 13 years worth of work life to arrange. Iâm anxious to sit down and see how it holds up! Iâm doing 4 stars only because itâs still brand new.
Solid desk but confusing instructions. This is a solid, well made desk. The top surface is really heavy and solid, and the sides although are made from particle board, felt heavy and built to last. 2 of the 3 boxes arrived damaged and when I contacted the seller, they agreed to replace the damaged parts (waiting for the order to be shipped). Luckily the damage was cosmetic and I was able to fix the desk. Overall I like it because it is much more sturdier than the other desks I used.My biggest complaint, as many have pointed out, are the instructions. I have fixed many IKEA and other Box store furniture, but the instructions for this particular desk were very confusing. I found that some of the screws that were needed to fix the keyboard tray to the desk were missing so I had to go to home depot to buy similar screws.
