Stylish and sturdy Super easy to assemble.But that doesn’t mean it was quick to assemble, though it LOOKED like it’d be a quick job.Put together myself and took over an hour.Some of the holes didn’t line up easily and a little ‘encouragement’ was required, including one shelf which didn’t get a screw because of it..A glass of wine or a beer can help during these moments of frustration.NOTE: The shelves are NOT solid wood.They are laminate.Originally I turned my nose up at that.But as I assembled it I really liked the look.you can NOT tell it isn’t solid wood. and due to that, the weight of the unit is much lighter than if it were.All in all, I really like this purchase.
Great looking bookshelf This is a great looking bookshelf. Easy to install, materials seems durable, and the boards have a great color. This isn’t real wood, so don’t expect that type of quality or feel. The boards look like a cover was applied on them, but they do look great. During installation, don’t screw the screws in too tight, or it’ll cause that area to bulge (see the picture I have provided). But, I am very satisfied with this purchase.
excellent value – cant be built by 1 person (technically) I’ve been fangirling over this bookshelf for a few months. I have searched and searched for a better option but could find none, in an impulsive and fiscally irresponsible moment I finally ordered it and could not be happier that I did. I mean, okay the rent is late, but HELLO look at this shelf!It says you need to do a “team lift” to carry it but pffft… I’m a single sally and did just fine. Also, it advises that you have someone help you assemble it, and I would recommend that if you can get a friend to help than you probably should because it was kind of a nightmare to do by myself but I did successfully complete it so obviously it can be done. its a really straightforward assembly but it uses a lot of nuts and bolts and you have to hold both the nut and bolt in place while also holding the pieces together while you are screwing them in and 2 arms are not really sufficient for that. I used couch cushions to kind of balance things and then did some yoga-esk poses to…
