4.5 stars/reduced to 3 stars on 1-18-2017 beautiful desk i really do love it 4.56 stars iof i could my only reason for not giving 5 stars is the one i recievd the finiosh is very very thin like one coat of stain and xtra thin coat of polyurthanm and i had a real small chip that i was abl to cvove with wood marker i even applied my own finish on it a couple coats added more sheen to it as well as mote protection to keep it looking shartp …great buy very concerned how this desk is going to hold up ,do to the finish/stain of this desk foir something that one is going to spend many hours sitting at at least 5 days a week the finish on this desk is unacceptable im now almost daily useing my wood martkers to fill in scratches the finish seems to have no hardener seal on it to protect the stain anf fin ish of this desk just laying my keys on the surface of it left scratches and marks on the desk down to raw wood somerthing like this really needs a good coat or two of polyurathan type sealer /harderner on it being that the use is…
Desk I’ve always dreamed of I LOVE this desk (and bookshelves and file cabinet). I recently built a home office and began the search for my dream desk. I visited multiple local & on-line furniture stores. However, I fell in love with this desk the instant I saw it on Amazon.com. Coaster Double pedestal desk We bought two of these desks for our home office and they are nothing but absolutely beautiful. It looks fantastic in our home office matching well with the hardwood floors and it is also very functional. There is a drawer to put files, 3 pencil drawers one of which can open up as a keyboard/mouse sliding drawer. There is one more drawer for storage and a space to put desktop computer. The top of the table has a small 2ft by 1 ft leather writing area and two small stylish holes (with covers) for inserting cables and wires. My husband and I work a lot at home and we absolutely love it. The installation was not hard but tedious, took about 40 minutes each table. However, bear in mind that this table is all solid wood (the real stuff, none of that cheap laminate)and it is really really heavy. I am a fairly small person (5 ft) and my husband isn’t very big either and we had a very hard time taking it up the stairs to our study. So as long as you have some help carrying it, you are fine…
