Quietest shredder I have ever used Length:: 0:33 Mins Quietest shredder I have ever used. There is no comparison between the shredder and any other shredder I have ever owned including expensive shredders.This one is almost silent. You could shred at night even when people are sleeping. You could bring this to a classical music concert and sit in the back row and shred all of your junk mail! You could take this to church or temple and shred your bills. You can talk on the phone while shredding! You could even shred in your sleep without waking yourself up!I’ve attached videos comparing this shredder to my expensive Fellowes shredder, to demonstrate the difference in noise.I will update the review as I use this more but so far I’m impressed. I would NOT recommend this unit I would NOT recommend this unit. I am very disappointed that the automatic paper detection feature stopped working after 2 1/2 years of light use. Now, when I insert a piece of paper to be shredded, the shredding function still works fine, but then the it never turns off after the paper has been shredded. I need to switch off the power and switch it back on to cause it to stop. Also, this unit has what I believe is something of a design flaw: Shreds of paper become stuck on the outside edges of the two rollers and it takes some effort to remove these shreds that become jammed there.
