Dark espresso brown and oh so gorgeous! This desk is legit. It’s gorgeous! No ordinary piece of garbage furniture that you’d buy online.I found it in a furniture store and fell in love, but my hubby said it was too expensive. So later that night, I went searching on my trusty Amazon and found it for half the price.Claimed it was supposed to take 2 weeks to get here, but it was here in a day and a half. Put it together myself!! Which isn’t saying much. It came in one solid piece and I just had to Allen wrench the legs on. Easy peasy! And I can’t stop petting it :)Btw, It isn’t a grayish brown. Its a really really dark brown. Without proper lighting, it looks black.
Not worth the money It looks nice visually but when you touch it/knock on it you can feel that the wood isn’t the best quality, it’s like glorified plywood basically. The only reason I am not returning it is because of the hassle it would take to do so. It’s dry and brittle. I ordered the matching bookcase and again it’s nice but not the best quality. Ashley is not known for good quality. I’m worried about spilling anything on it, doesn’t look like it would respond well.
Good price, nice desk Much cheaper on Amazon than at our local Ashley Home Store. And super easy to put together – just screw on legs. Actually it was so well-packed that it took longer to open than it took to put together. Very pleased.
