Tip retracts while writing Purchased as a thank you gift to the male attendees of our daughters chemo therapy head shaving party. Although a decent price you get what you pay for and they are very light weight and the tip of the pen keeps retracting while writing***I am adding that this seller has harassed me to try and change my review to a better rating!! If there had been an opportunity for these gifts to have been replaced with a better product from them I might have considered giving a better review. However, I find it hard to believe the rating they have is accurate as all the pens in the package had the same proof retracting while writing!
A Great Pen & Value These pens write well and look nice. For the price they are a great value. Comparing the Cambond to my stainless steel Cross pen the Cambond is a little bit smaller in diameter, lighter, and just a tad bit shorter. My Cross refill cartridge fits but the tip wouldn’t protrude through all the way as it is a little bit larger in diameter.As far as writing goes, it wrote nice, no skips and felt a little smoother gliding over the paper than my Cross pen. The ink on the Cambond was a little darker than the cross which I thought was a good thing.Bottom line, if you like a Cross pen you will like these and for the price you won’t need a refill, just toss and grab a new one.
Writes nice, looks nice, a little skinny. Don’t last. This pen writes very nice. I like the twist to extend the writing tip because it can’t accidentally be extended when it a pocket. It looks sharp (black with gold accent). This particular pen (black with gold accent) has a nice feel that doesn’t slide in my hand. I wish it were a bit thicker, it feels to skinny when I write. It’s not as big around as a standard wood pencil…well maybe about the same size as a standard wood pencil without the ridges on it.March 2019 update. These don’t last, the paint has worn off, the clips break off after just a couple uses, the ink globs and runs or the pen doesn’t write at all after about 6 weeks of use. The 10 cent Papermate pens write better and last longer over time than these.
