Don’t forget! Just remember to have glue and clamps on hand and don’t lose any of the parts! Some of the wood pieces are fiberboard and very easily split. My experience is the wood split along the edges with notches cut to join pieces of flimsy plastic colored pieces matching the wood on the piece. It says the piece has limitations on weight of the files it can store and wonder if this needs to be lowered as I would feel uncomfortable placing anything that has weight of a rheum of 500 sheets of paper in it. But it does create a beautiful piece of furniture for decoration and light weight storage.
Don’t be deceived by the description and photo This is made of particle board. At least two of the particle board pieces came apart when I was assembling them. The 1800 number is continuously busy when it’s available during normal business hours. I was told that their phones were down when I emailed customer service. I was promised replacement parts by customer service and was given instructions on assembling it promptly by email.A week after assembling this product I am updating my review that Amazon needs to immediately stop selling this product due to safety reasons. The drawers do not have a locking mechanism. I just had both drawers suddenly slide open without warning and the whole unit tilted on its side. I have not heard back yet from the customer service rep on my email yesterday on my concerns about its safety.

There are a lot of parts and it really helps to have a second person to hold things while you are putting them together and to help line up pieces. The cabinet is very heavy even when it was put together. It’s very sturdy and seems that it will hold up to a lot of use
