A Cautiously Optimistic 4 Star Deal I like it enough to give it 4 stars with a word of caution about aesthetics and potential misalignment. The one I got was on sale and gray. The major bad news:This chair kind of looks lopsided when finally put together and all the screws tightened. Was it a misalignment of the holes? I don’t know.It sits level but there’s something wonky with the way it looks. I’m not ambitious enough to prove the point as that this could also just be cheap upholstery issue giving a look like it’s all goofed up.The good news:I sat in it and it’s pretty darn comfortable. which is the only reason it keeps a 4 star rating here – function over aesthetics. Again, I’m not sure if I’m being taken by an optical goof up due to bad pattern sewing on the upholstry or a real misalignment but it works, that’s what I really bought it for.It came with all the parts and some spares. It was only about 20 minutes to put together. The air adjustment…
If you’re looking for a chair to sit in for 6-10 hours a day, this isn’t it. Cushion compresses and stays like that after using it for a while. Still decent enough though.update: I went from 4 stars after the first couple weeks, to 3 stars about 2 months in, and now 7 months later, I’m giving it a 1 star. The cushion on this chair has just completely given up and has compressed into a thin, tough pancake. I ended up having to buy a seat cushion so my butt wouldn’t hurt so much sitting on this. Do yourself a favor and buy an Alera Elusion chair instead. I got one at work, and its heavenly. Absolutely worth the $140 price tag compared to this junk chair at the cost of $100.
Comfortable and budget friendly chair. I purchased this chair well over a month and a half-two months from the time of writing this review. I wanted to give it a decent amount of time before making my mind up, as some of the reviews on here made me wonder if a chair this affordable would really make it through me slinging my fat behind in and out of it.If I am not at work or doing household chores, I am sitting my butt in front of a computer. I am also 250 lbs give or take a pizza I may have eaten that week. I am not a slim person. My thighs pancake. The last chair I had was a second hand chair my husband nabbed from a “gaming” parlor (re: coin gambling place) that went out of business and were chucking the chairs. We were pretty poor then, and while we aren’t THAT strapped for cash now, I am not rolling in the money as I work retail.I desperately needed an upgrade. Like. Seven years ago upgrade.I hemmed and hawed and went back and forth between this chair and the “gamer”…
