Absolutely stunning for the price. A deep engineering perspective >> Surprisingly comfy & high quality. Length:: 0:13 Mins Shockingly high quality. Longevity a question mark, but treat it well and this is probably well worth the price. My impression is from the first 48 hours of owning the chair; I bought a pair of them for an office â but … I do have a decade of engineering experience and Iâll use that to give a highly detailed review! There are three or four main materials at play here: polycarbonate, steel, mesh fabric, and vinyl. Throw in some stitching, zinc and brass plated fasteners, and miscellaneous softer plastics and you have the whole picture.Starting from the base: The casters are fairly standard plastic with steel or zinc-coated base metal shanks. No surprises here. Replace with urethane if you want to not damage hardwood floors. The 5-pointed base itself is dense polycarbonate. Donât mistake this for metal! Itâs well engineered and has only a few minor flashing points made during mold separation. During…
Well worth the gamble Let me begin by saying that i searched high and low for a good office chair before finding this one on Amazon. I live in a small town, and while we do have a few places (Office Max, Walmart), the local selection is poor at best.Having read all the reviews this chair seemed like a gamble. But so far my experience has been pretty good.Pros:-Easy to assemble. Took me less than 20 minutes. The worst part is the armrests, because of their odd shape.-Comfortable. I’ve been sitting in it for over 3 hours with no discomfort yet. Lumbar support is awesome. Padded armrests are a plus.-Aesthetics. The grey version complements my red and black and grey gaming rig nicely.-Adjustable reclining tension. This should really be listed as a feature. It has an adjustable knob underneath to adjust the force needed to recline. Very nice addition.Cons:-Assembly can be difficult when attaching the arms to the back and seat.-Arms DO HAVE…
Very comfortable with easy assembly The box was packed well, however the chair is heavy, so after carrying it for a bit the cardboard was pierced by the base of the chair. No damage was done to the chair as it was wrapped well in bubble wrap. Everything needed for assembly was included in a plastic and cardboard package, including an Allen wrench which fit all the hardware.Assembly was easy. I enlisted the help of my girlfriend and we had it together in less than 30 mins. The way the arms connect to the back is a little wonky as the bolts go in at a bit of an angle. We found it easiest for one person to stabilize the back on it’s side as the other used the included Allen wrench to connect the arms. The base all slides into place without screwing anything in which at first made me suspicious but I had never put an office chair together before. It all slid into place snugly and felt very sturdy.Sat in the chair for about 3-4 hours immediately after assembly as I had a few papers to write…
