Truly dreadful… I run an office where we have to produce documents that we can provide to our clients without shame. This paper brought me shame. Like such awful shame that I’m going to have to see a chiropractor for hanging my head so low for so long. Really, it was as though I ran out of real, actual copy paper, and in a fit of sad desperation, decided it might be a good idea to cram my printer full of the puffy white tissue paper that I usually stuff wads of into overpriced gift bags in a futile attempt to pretend that I actually wrapped the brithday presents I bought for my kids’ friends. Expect it turns out that it wasn’t a good idea. In fact, it was a very bad idea because the flimsy tissue paper-like substance that dares refer to itself as copy paper jammed up my copier about a thousand times (o.k., I’m exaggerating, it was only about 30 times before I rid myself if the vile stuff, but it felt like a 1000). And the pages that made it through my copier looked like something the local fish…

Fabulous THIN paper for my everyday printing needs. This is 16lb weight paper. IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE THINNER THAN STANDARD COPY PAPER.Things this paper is great for:-Draft documents-Crafts that require multiple folds (like origami)-Internal everyday home use like printing coupons, boarding passes, tickets, etc.Things this paper is NOT good for:-Schoolwork that will be turned in (unless you get the OK from your teacher/professor)-Final reports or any kind of client deliverable (it will make you look cheap)-Resumes (seriously do not print resumes on this stuff)-Printing photos or art for displayI love this paper because I print large draft documents for review purposes and I can fit more sheets into my laser printer at a time due to the lighter weight. And its better for the environment since it all goes straight into the recycle bin anyway. I would never use this paper for any kind of final document, but its great for my needs.I have no problem…

This allows 6 sheets + regular envelope, one extra sheet for 1 ounce stamp. If weight is important, it’s a nice paper. With this paper I can send 6 sheets, printed double sided overseas for one International stamp costing $1.15With Zon’s Hammermill Paper Copy Plus 20lb I can mail only 5 sheets. With a 24lb paper I can mail only 4 sheets. That extra one (or two sheets) per stamp is valuable to me.Quality of paper:HP EcoFFicient paper is a nice paper, bright and I printed double sided (HP laser) my last years Form 1040. The EcoF paper is just about as opaque as the 20lb Hammermill. The only real difference that I see is that the EcoFFicient paper is “limp,” and does not feel as nice on the fingers. I’ll bet that those who don’t like it don’t like the “feel” or the “limpness.” Ecologically you get 20% more sheets for the weight. I’m actually quite impressed with it and I used to be “printer” at a commercial print shop.
