Can hold my padfolio and my drink in one hand! After struggling with a full sized portfolio at my last conference and realizing I don’t take that many independent notes but rather write notes on the handouts given, I decided to look for something smaller. What attracted me to this particular one was the wrist strap and, of course, that it zippered, important when it is dangling from a wrist. My thought was, “Great, I can hold my portfolio and drink in one hand and still be able to shake hands or open doors with out juggling. What kept me looking was its features as I realized I could leave my bag at home/hotel/office and just take this without problems.I like that you can use any 5×8 pad as long as it open from the top or size. This way I can choose which is most comfortable for me and if I want to take it out to use it, it is very easy to do. The pen holder should hold any size pen as it is quite generous and also stretches. So, no problem if you use one with a comfort grip as it should easily slide in…
Everything about this product is pretty great. I gave 4 stars for a couple … Everything about this product is pretty great. I gave 4 stars for a couple of reasons.1. The slots for business cards are REALLY tight. You can only fit a single card and it’s nearly impossible to get it back out. I ended up inserting my cards vertically which means I can only use 2 of the slots provided since the cards will stick out above the zipper line if I use the top slot.2. It only comes in black. Standard color, I know but I prefer bright, fun colors. If it came in a cool purple or cobalt blue or bright pink I would have gotten that.Overall, I really well made, easy to use product. The inside pocket (for ipad) comes in handy for pamphlets or other items if you don’t have and ipad. There’s also a pocket on the front which can hold small, thin items such as cards, receipts, etc. I would buy again. Especially in a new color!! (hint to the manufacturer)
) The padding on that side is good to protect a tablet It’s a toss-up between 4 and 5 stars. I’m using this for my planner. I print my own planner pages (5.5 x 8.5 inches) and use 3/4 inch discs for binding. That size disc works well in here. In the pocket/sleeve on the opposite side, I made file folders to tuck in my loose supplies (stamps, post it, cards to mail, etc.) The padding on that side is good to protect a tablet, but it’s a little annoying when needing access to one of the folders.I like the area which holds cards, but it could use more slots. The tiny zippered pocket on the front – I haven’t found anything that can fit in there. What would make this better is more card slots and a place to hold a thumb drive (or an eraser)… and maybe one more pen loop.I chose this padfolio when shopping because it didn’t have binder rings, it closes securely with a zipper around the outside, and the junior size. Those requirements are rather difficult to fulfill and this works well for my needs.
