If you stop pressing/holding the Keys at any time during initialization, the initialization process will fail to complete. The LED Display will show “- – -“. If this happens, press and hold the “Up + Down” Keys for a few seconds to resume the Initialization Process. When the process is done, the controller will beep twice. The Initialization Process MUST be completed for the height adjustment feature to operate properly. After completing initialization, the height will be at its lowest setting. You may now press the “Up” or “Down” Keys to adjust table height. The LED Display will automatically turn off after a few seconds of inactivity.

*UPDATE, BUYER BEWARE** Best electric budget desk ***FINAL UPDATE: RETURNED***As suspected, the manufacture never got back to me and I had to return the desk. Ended up getting an ikea manual crank desk in its place (its great except for the physical labor). BTW, returning this desk to amazon was a MASSIVE pain. While they were very helpful, the return took a long time and the desk had to be disassembled and repacked. The seller had a lot of 5-star reviews over the years so figured this was just a new product or something. It came by the delivery estimate, super easy to assemble (be sure you don’t accidentally put something on the wrong side, though, that got us a couple times), and works really well so far! It can save 4 preset heights and has a numeric read out of the height, too, and if you’ve ever had a standing desk before you know how crucial that is. The only downside (if you can even call it that) is the desktop part is actually two pieces of wood you connect with wood screws and fix them to the legs. Just didn’t…
Easy Assembly I am in the same boat as the original reviewer. I was very skeptical buying something without review, so I figured I should leave a review 🙂 Packaging was very good, everything kept put during shipping. I was a little put off that the assembly instructions were all pictures, and yet it was very simple. Initial operation is going well. I will be adding all of my components tomorrow and will update my review if needed.
