Basic and Utilitarian This is functional and adequate. I was looking for something more attractive for a non-business office environment but could not find one with as many features as this organizer. The good points are the spacious sections in the ultimately necessary pull out drawer. The shelves are a decent size but paperwork will easily be buried if you let it pile up. The small space in back for hanging files will be handy. it would have been better if this product came with 3 hanging folders included. i have my iPad dropped into it and can charge it there too. It is fairly sturdy, but it is not meant for heavy items. Not bad, just not very pretty.
Not sure how I lived without it! I’ve been using this for a week, and I am in love with it. I am a neat freak and was getting tired of file folders stacking up on my desk and constantly having to rifle through the stack to find what I was looking for. This organizer allows me to sort them into three neat piles – one on each of the two trays and then another kind of standing in the back “hanging” section (which you can actually make use of without hanging file folders…). I’m using the pull out drawer to organize loose pens, highlighters, and post-its that were previously scattered on my desk. I really am not sure how I existed without it before!Some reviewers have complained about the look of the organizer in their comments – I don’t have a problem with it and like that it is black wire/mesh. It makes it less obtrusive than it would be if it were wood or plastic, plus you can see into the organizer from the sides, which I like. Wonderful Desk Organizer I received this and set it up. Between the written directions and looking at the picture on Amazon I figured it out. I am not very mechanical. This replaced a two shelve tray. The slide letter trays are very nice. The 3 compartment tray I love because I have all my little things (pencils, paper clips, rubber bands, pens, batteries, etc.) in that tray. When I am working I pull it out and put it on the desk. When I am finished I slide it back. No loose items on the desk. It seems very sturdy and the hanging file section is a nice addition I did not have before. Love it.
