Paper’s OK but colors are way way off These pads definitely shout “recycled” in color, texture, and cut. Pages are very thin and a little coarse, with a rough bottom edge. The colors are very washed out, and are nothing like what is shown on the website (photo below for comparison). OK pads at a value, but consider the notes below.I had no issues tearing the paper at the top perforation, and there was no show-through to the back when I used a variety of pencils and pens (Sharpie did show through to the back, but it didn’t bleed to papers below). So these pads are fine for a variety of uses if you don’t have an issue with needing the specific colors shown.
Colors are Misleading, Sheets Separate Easily, but Cheap Price The colors are not as vibrant as the photos would lead you to believe. If you look at my close up of the blue and purple, even in different lighting, you can see they almost look the same. This is a little disappointing.I use these at work. I like different colored pads for notes and ideas, and like using various colors for various projects. These are small, they’re not full legal sized pads, which I knew from the dimensions. Each page is perforated at the top, which is a must-have; however, these are so perforated, even a bump in the wrong direction of the page will result in it detaching. This is frustrating to me…Additionally, the lines are not perfectly uniform as you’ll see in the photos. For me, this wasn’t as big of a deal as the separation from the pad and the lack of diversity of the colors. For that reason, I give them 3 stars because they’re still a good value.
BAIT and SWITCH! I’m SORELY disappointed in the colors of these pads. They were advertised as Orchid, Pink and Blue, but the pads I received were 2 of a muddy peach shade and 4 of muddy green. My goal was to write letters to my beloved incarcerated grandson in colors to bring a little cheer to him, but these are NOT as described in their ad! I LOVE Purple so I use pens with purple ink, and the colors in the ad would have looked pretty with purple ink on them, but the ones I received are terrible. I’d return them to Amazon if Amazon had not recently made it so difficult for purchasers to return items that displease us.PLEASE don’t waste your money on these pads unless you really don’t care what color they are! Save your money and settle for the white/yellow pads; I wish I had!
