It might be a good deal, but it’s not a good buy. I’m not going to lie, I was very disappointed in the colors. They are not even close to as bright as the picture shows. In fact, they all kind of look grayish. I was going to write and complain, but I decided not to. The more I looked, the more I could see that there was SOME color, just very, very little. It made me sad, because as a teacher I like to organize my courses and notes by my colored notebooks. I was so excited to find these, because everywhere else the prices were just ridiculous. They came and I opened them up, and I was definitely disappointed. I’m giving it 2 stars still, because you really can’t beat the price for less than $10. However, the paper is pretty flimsy as well. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing these legal pads if there are others a little more expensive to purchase. I know I will never purchase them again.

Dull colors & WIDE ruled I’m a student in college and learned I like these better than spiral bound notebooks so I bought them to have some fun colors to brighten up my notes. Sadly, these are not bright at all! They are very dull and not that pretty of colors (although I did end up liking the darker purple/blue color). I also didn’t read the reviews much and purchased on a whim so I was also disappointed to learn that they were wide ruled which I’m not a huge fan of. However, I did decide not to return them and just used one for the first time this morning and I really like how smooth they are to write on, probably due to the slightly thin paper. Also, the wide rule gave me a bit of extra room to add comments my professor made regarding topics I had already wrote down. All in all, I’m actually pleased with my purchase (despite how sad the colors made me because I love color in my life!) and will continue to use them for the rest of my classes as well. I’ll just be using more colored pens and highlighters to…

Not brightly colored… I’ve yet to test the quality of this product, but it seems that it will hold up well enough to normal writing materials and use.My issue is that the colors displayed in the photos are much more vivid than the colors of the products I actually received. Honestly, all three colored pads are just a different color of gray, with a colored binding at the top of each pad. I’ve attached a photo of all three pads to show how similar they are in paper color, as well as a photo showing another purple pad I’m using compared to the “purple” pad I just received. (And to be honest, my camera is being generous with the lighting here and depicts them just a bit brighter than they truly are.)My employer supplies the regular yellow legal pads for free, but I like to organize my note by color so I buy colored pads. These legal pads will not fit my need as I’d hoped. I won’t go through the hassle of returning them, since their price isn’t worth the effort, but I should…
