These are the best pens for drawing These are the best pens for drawing. I’ve used them for a number of years as an educator – no task too large or small. I always buy them by the dozens. I love the very fine point on the purple ones and the other colors. They made my lesson plans less tedious. I’m retired now, but my son, an artist and his production director wife, use them everyday. I give them at least 10 dozen for a Christmas present each year. That keeps them well supplied. I kept watching the prices this year and I got some very good deals on Amazon. So, one present down, and more to go. I can highly recommend these pens without one hesitation. One more thing, if you have arthritis these pens just seem to flow across the page. lhl
Perfection Incarnate! A magnificent product! I have used them for about 16 years (since I was a teenager) and have not been disappointed! Such awesome consistency alone, over such a long period of time makes this pen worth its weight in gold. However, its most desirable attribute is its smooth writing and absence of any “skips”. After using it for so long, it has become a part of my identity. I am paranoid that Uni-Ball will try to change/ discontinue/ improve on this model. Thoughts like this keep me up at night! My humble request to the manufacturer, please do not mess with perfection!!
Good, but … Advantages: Writes really thick and dark. Love how smooth it feels. It’s also fade proof and waterproof.Disadvantages: The grip is not the best. The design is not the best. Whenever I write, I would have to go over the writing again because the ink stops working for a portion of it. Ex. I write the letter “O” and the circle is not complete. Thickness of ink causes for less space in paper.I bought another well known pen, and I would recommend the “Pilot Precise V5 RT” over this one for the following reasons: Smooth, thin lines, comfortable grip, nice design, and writes consistently.
